Return Policy

Return and Refund Policy for Final Sales on Physical, Digital Items, Content, and In-Person Training

 

Thank you for choosing to shop and train with us. We appreciate your trust in our products, content, and educational programs.

Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing items, content, or enrolling in any training, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Scope of Products and Services

Physical and Digital Items and Content include, but are not limited to: printed books, downloadable software, digital downloads, e-books, online courses, and other digital and physical products.

In-Person Training includes, but is not limited to: live classes, hybrid training programs, hands-on workshops, certifications, and any training conducted in person in locations such as New York City or other locations offered by Karla Sesskin / Beauty Arts Books / NY Ink Beauty Arts Academy.

Final Sale

All sales of physical items, digital items, content, and in-person training (including deposits and full payments) are final.

Once a purchase is made, the transaction is considered complete.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges except under the circumstances outlined in the Exceptions section below.

In-Person Training Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit (typically 50% of the total training cost) is required to secure a seat in any in-person training.

  • Due to the limited availability and small group format of our classes, all deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • If a student is unable to attend the scheduled training date, the deposit will not be refunded.

  • The deposit remains secure as a credit and may be applied toward a future in-person training date within the same calendar year.

  • This credit can be used for any upcoming class, subject to availability. Please note that the credit will be applied toward the training at the current rate in effect at the time of the rescheduled class date, and any price difference must be covered by the student.


Exceptions

We will only consider refunds or exchanges for physical or digital items and content under the following circumstances:

1. Defective or Damaged Items
If the item or content is defective or damaged upon delivery, please contact our customer support within 7 days of the purchase date. We may request proof, such as screenshots or a description of the issue, to process a refund or exchange.

2. Duplicate Purchases
In the event that you accidentally purchase the same item or content more than once, please contact our customer support within 7 days of the purchase date for a refund or store credit for the duplicate purchase. We may ask for proof of the duplicate transactions.

No Refunds for Training, Change of Mind, or Scheduling Conflicts

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • In-person training deposits or payments

  • Missed classes or inability to attend

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect purchase

  • Any reason not explicitly stated in the Exceptions section
